Getting to campus: Consider your options
The Commencement ceremony is held at the heart of the Washington University in St. Louis campus: the Brookings Quadrangle. The Quadrangle is on the east side of campus just west of Forest Park and near the intersection of Skinker Boulevard and Forest Park Parkway.
Guests are strongly encouraged to take a hotel shuttle, taxi or rideshare service.
Hotel shuttles may drop off guests at McDonnell Hall (77).
Uber, Lyft and taxi drivers may drop off guests at Goldfarb Hall (48).
MetroLink light rail also is a convenient and reliable option. Exit MetroLink at the Skinker Station.
Parking on campus
Visitors may park in university parking garages that include the East End (95), Millbrook and Snow Way (96,98) or Shepley and Wallace garages located on the South 40 (97,99).
Finding accessible parking
Accessible parking is available in the Danforth University Center Garage (DUC)(94). Please display your state parking tag.
Reserving a wheelchair
For guests needing wheelchairs, a limited number are available by reservation before May 3, 2021. If you need further assistance you may contact Rosetta Saputo at 314-935-5669 or rsaputo@wustl.edu.
For those needing to drop off guests with accessibility needs, please enter the lot in front of Simon Hall (112) from Olympian Way and Forsyth. Proceed to the drop off point and volunteers will be there to assist you. Questions regarding wheelchairs and accessibility please call Rosetta Saputo 314-935-5669.
Giving yourself plenty of time
Commencement starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 7:45 a.m. to allow adequate travel time from campus parking areas to Brookings Quadrangle.
MetroLink
MetroLink, the St. Louis light-rail system, is an alternative to driving and parking at the university. The Metro offers convenient access to both the Danforth and Medical campuses and allows guests to avoid traffic and parking congestion during the Commencement ceremonies.

Exit at the Skinker Station.
MEDICAL CAMPUS
Exit at the Central West End Station.
