Kara Chung (above), a senior in English in Arts & Sciences, served as both executive director of Lunar New Year and a dancer in the Chinese fan performance. The annual event featured 160 students, drew hundreds of viewers and raised money for Action Against Hunger, a leading humanitarian organization providing food and clean water to communities across the globe.
“Watching the LNYF 2015 production was watching a year’s worth of hard work come to life on stage,” Chung said. “It captured the spirit and dedication of over 150 students. I am forever thankful to have been part of this incredible community, the LNY family.”
